Wan and Tara to show works in Potomac Valley Watercolorists exhibit

Wan Lee and Tara Hamilton each have two watercolors in the upcoming Potomac Vally Watercolorists exhibit, “Bountiful.”

As is the Potomac Valley Watercolorists’ custom, a watercolor by the first-place winner from last year’s PVW show is used on the next year’s postcard. And guess what! Wan Lee was the 2018 first-place winner, so the exhibition postcard has his painting on it:

Wan Lee: Kiss of Spring. Watercolor.

Wan’s painting used on the postcard will also be on display in the show. It’s a painting of a tree peony from his garden.

Below are the two paintings that Tara Hamilton has in the show, and a second one of Wan’s that is in the exhibit.

Tara Hamilton: Pots and Vines. Watercolor.
Tara Hamilton: Botanical Beauties. Watercolor.
Wan Lee: Garden Rhapsody. Watercolor

The opening reception is Sunday, May 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 at Green Spring Gardens, 4603 Green Spring Road in Alexandria, Virginia.

And just in case you wanted to know, here is Wan’s painting that won first place in 2018:

Wan Lee: The Gathering. Watercolor.
