Works by seven Wednesday Studio members go up in DC councilmember’s office

For the last two months, works by half of the Wednesday Studio have been on display in the offices of Charles Allen, who represents Ward 6 on the District of Columbia Council.

Now it’s time for the other half of the Wednesday Studio to shine, and their work went up on the walls of Mr. Allen’s office last week.

Through the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, Mr. Allen had invited local artists to exhibit their work in his offices.

Here is the art that will be on display at Councilman Allen’s office until January 4, 2020:

Vince Iannacchione: Hope. Pastel and ink.
Tara Hamilton: Delicate Blooms. Watercolor.
Martha Pope: After the Rain. Pastel.
Wan Hoi Lee: Big Sur in Bloom. Watercolor.
Anne Shields: St. Catherine’s, Slovenia. Pastel.
Fran Tomlinson: Frances in the Dell. (Self-portrait). Pastel.
Marian Wiseman: Leaves from Ellen. Watercolor.
