The theme for August Draw-a-Bird Day is birds with a color in their name.
We’ve got three blacks, two blues, and two browns. Red, yellow, and rose came up with one each. As always, birds not part of the theme are invited, and we have two of those.
I had thought that the red/scarlet/crimson/rufous/vermillion/ruddy/ruby/flame category would be the most common, but there you go . . .
