Here are the super birds that flew in for January 2019 DAB-Day:

Eileen Leahy: Atlantic Puffin. Pastel and ink.
Anne Shields: A Mantel Full of Birds. Watercolor and pencil.

Sandy Hussey: Hermit Thrush. Watercolor.
Tara Hamilton: Bird in Flight. iPad art app.
Marian Wiseman: Peregrine Falcons. Pencil.
Tom Eichenberger: Limpkin. Wood pestle, brass, feathers, plastic.
Tom Eichenberger: Hummingbird. Toothbrush, printed circuit board, glass beads.
Maddie Armstrong, age 5: Flamingo. Crayon.
Vera Armstrong, age 8: Rocket Bird. Fairy dust on wood glue.

    Wonderful birds! The peregrine pair is so elegant. And I did not expect a rocket bird made of glue and fairy dust! 🙂

      Thanks, Myriah! I know–the fairy dust was quite the thing. Little Vera was visiting and talked about fairy dust, and my husband said he had some in the basement . . .
