Watercolor and Pastel Artists at CHAW

Making art every day: the faithful few

You may remember that for 2020 a number of us in the Wednesday Studio committed to spending at least 15 minutes on art every day. That 15 minutes could be spent on completing a sketch or working on a more complicated work.

I have fallen off the wagon, but I hope to get back on before long.

Here is some work that some have shared. Others in our group may also be making art, but they haven’t recently shared it. (These are all from March.)

Nancy Arbuthnot: Yellow flower.
Nancy Arbuthnot: Dragonflies.
Linda Norton: Pie on International Pi Day.
Linda Norton: Ice Cream.
Linda Norton: Poppies.
Carolyn Rondthaler: Thistle.
Carolyn Rondthaler: Soap.
Carolyn Rondthaler: Shamrock. Art was placed outside Carolyn’s house for others to use in a neighborhood “no-touch” scavenger hunt for shamrocks on St. Patrick’s Day.

Ellen Cornett: Rhinoceros in polka dot shorts.
