THE WEDNESDAY STUDIO

Watercolor and Pastel Artists at CHAW

Credit to the Backyard Bird Nerd

In yesterday’s post for April Draw-a-Bird Day, I totally forgot to give credit to the fabulous photographer who took the pictures that several Wednesday Studio artists used as the source for their art.

I follow the blog “Backyard Bird Nerd” and told the Wednesday Studio about it. The blogger, Kathy Doremus, lives in Atlanta and provides a haven (and food!) for dozens of fabulous birds, which she photographs and writes about. When she travels, naturally she takes her camera, and her recent trip to Florida resulted in stunning photography. Below I’m showing her photos and our art.

You will be richly rewarded by following her blog and seeing more bird photos. To follow it, go to https://backyardbirdnerd.com/ and click on the three little stripes in the upper right-hand corner.

Thank you for your wonderful birds, Kathy!

You are most kind. No credit was needed. I am always honored when artists use my pictures, and delight in seeing the results!
