What the Wednesday Studio artists have been doing lately

I thought you might like to see some of the artwork that we have finished that hasn’t been published in the blog, so I asked people to send me some of their art.

Ellen Cornett

These three drawings are part of a series of illustrations Ellen did for a storybook she is publishing, The Fisherman and the Flounder. That classic tale is from the Brothers Grimm and other sources, but Ellen has reimagined it and written the story in her own words, along with 15 gorgeous illustrations. Here are three of them:

Kay Elsasser

One of our most prolific members, Kay has kept her prodigious pace even with the arrival of her first grandchild, Owen, in January. These are just five of the many paintings and drawings Kay has completed.

Tara works pretty exclusively in watercolor, with stunning results like these.
