When the Wednesday Studio class ended last spring, Ellen Cornett challenged us to make art every day. Her exhortation worked, and many of us who would have ignored our pencils and brushes and pastels actually produced some art, such as these pieces from Vince, Lynne, Eileen, and Linda A.
Vince Iannacchione: War fresco, Orvieto. Pencil
Lynne Mallonee Schlimm: Doodles. Pencil.
Linda Andreatta: Summer Bloom. Pastel.
Eileen Leahy: Comfy Chair at Port City Java. Pencil.
Eileen Leahy Port City Java Coffee Fixin’s. Pencil.
The items above are the last of the works that people sent me, though I have now learned that Tara Hamilton and Lynne Mallonee Schlimm, and probably others (!) created a number of other art pieces that they did not send for blog publication. Hmmmm.
Anyway, thanks to Ellen for her challenge to us. As usual, everyone had a busy summer, but we did not languish in an artless world.
