The Wednesday Studio and friends paid tribute to Draw-a-Bird Day, which occurs on the 8th of every month. I give you the February birds:
Jessi Warr, age 9: Penguin. Pencil.
Linda Norton: A Bird Like No Other. Watercolor.
Anne Shields: Ecuadorian owl. Pastel.
Lynne Mallonee Schlimm: Tree Full. If you look hard, you will see that the birds have some friends up there in the tree. Find the rabbit and the raccoon.
Pat Stocks: Great egret. Pastel.
Tara Hamilton: Bluebird. Watercolor.
Kay Elsasser: Brazilian cardinal. Watercolor.
Tom Eichenberger: Loitering. Felt-tip pen.
Eileen Leahy: Great blue heron. Wax pastels with water.
Ellen Cornett: Bluebird. Watercolor.
Marian Wiseman: Goldfinch. Watercolor.
Don’t forget, dear blog readers, that you, too, can have your bird included in the Wednesday Studio blog. DAB Day is the 8th of every month. Email a photo of your bird to this address by midnight March 8: wednesday.studio.artists@gmail.com.
