Having fun with knives: Capitol Hill Art League challenge

“Knives Out” was the theme of the August challenge of the Capitol Hill Art League. Each month this spring and summer the league has invited its members to submit art related to a set topic. July was “Chairs,” June was “Shoes”—you get the idea.

These are the “Knives Out” submissions by Wednesday Studio members:

Carolyn Rondthaler: Rack ’em Up. Elegant Writer pen on paper.
Linda Norton: Barlow’s Knife. Graphite.

Karen Van Allen: Knife. Pastel and graphite.
Marian Wiseman: Sid’s Knife. Watercolor.
Eileen Leahy: Continuous Contour (semiblind). Sharpie marker.
