Art Walk 2026 was lots of fun on Capitol Hill

Last Saturday and Sunday, five Wednesday Studio members were among more than 175 artists to set up exhibits of their art.: Tara Hamilton, Carolyn Rondthaler, Lynne Schlimm, Anne Shields, and me.

Tara Hamilton shared the space behind her house with artists Kim King, Karen Zens, and Anne Albright.

Two blocks away, displayed on the sidewalk in front of my house were works by Anne Shields, Lynne Schlimm, Tom Eichenberger, and me. A special shout-out to Tom, who built frames to hold the art and did the bulk of the set-up work, and to friend Joyce Palmer who joined us on Saturday and enthusiastically engaged visitors in discussions of the art.

Carolyn lives a block south of the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop and shared the sidewalk bordering her house with artist Karen Cohen.
