Two of Ellen Cornett’s exquisitely detailed carbon pencil drawings of animal groupings — Who Killed Cock Robin? and Elephant in the Room Redux — were included in a recent group show titled “Black & White.” At the closing party on September 30, an enthusiastic group of visitors took in the elegant exhibit of drawings and photographs in black and white, enjoying a cozy refuge from the late September rain. Here are some photos from the closing reception on September 30.

I love seeing the Wednesday Studio artists out and about! And of course, Ellen’s drawings are exquisite.
